Your Chamex mountain guide will choose the best Chamonix off piste terrain for your level and find you the very best snow conditions in the valley. You have to be an expert rider with a taste for adventure to enjoy this 3 day off-piste experience.

Chamonix has 4 main ski areas: Brevent, Flegere, Les Grands Montets and Le Tour. All of which have fantastic off-piste terrain full of hidden powder stashes, secret couloirs, steep descents and deep snow – our mountain guides will take you to their favourite runs as well as to explore some Chamonix off piste classics such as the Hotel Face, the ENSA couloir, the Rognon glacier and, of course, the world famous Vallee Blanche.

Depending on weather conditions we might take a trip through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Courmayeur in Italy, where there is excellent off-piste and glacial terrain, as well as excellent pizza and wine…

This group is open to skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers – you must be an experienced off-piste rider, comfortable riding all snow conditions at a good pace.

If you are not confident enough to join this group then have a look at our Chamonix Off-Piste Introduction Course  to brush up on all the essential off-piste skills as well as avalanche awareness and mountain safety.

The Chamex’Plore Off-Piste Course comprises 3 full days of guided off-piste skiing or snowboarding with a qualified and experienced UIAGM Chamex mountain guide. It has been specially designed to share with you the very best Chamonix off-piste descents.
